Panchkula (Mera Chandigarh): Rainy days in Panchkula city has made the residents to face dreadful consequences of improper civic amenities.

Panchkula which is located at 12 km distance from Chandigarh and 17th district of Haryana is still lacking in providing adequate civic amenities to its residents.

As the residents of Panchkula, who were promised to have a city developed on the pattern of Paris are completely regretted by the basic amenities being provided by the Panchkula administration, which can be seen through the roads full of potholes and open drains, withering parks, bad shapes of internal roads in Sectors 6, 8, 15, 12-A and Mansa Devi Complex.

However, Rs 15 crore have been spent on the repair of roads in the city but still many roads in majority of sectors could be seen flooded with muddy water due to improper drainage system in city making a Paris assumed city to a havoc living city.

BB Singal, acting president of the Municipal Council, while showing his inability towards the sensitive issue claimed that he has written letter to the HUDA officials regarding this, but has failed to get any response from their side.
