Mohali Police Arrests Mullanpur Resident under Arms Act

Mohali (Mera Chandigarh): The Mohali police on Sunday arrested one person identified as Surmukh Singh, alias Green, son of Kulwant Singh, a resident of Bansipur in Mullanpur under arms act, with a .315 bore country-made pistol and four live cartridges at a naka laid near Jayanti-Ki-Rao rivulet.

Mohali (Mera Chandigarh): The Mohali police on Sunday arrested one person identified as Surmukh Singh, alias Green, son of Kulwant Singh, a resident of Bansipur in Mullanpur under arms act, with a .315 bore country-made pistol and four live cartridges at a naka laid near Jayanti-Ki-Rao rivulet.

Information to this effect was shared by Mohali SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar that, following the arrest of a Mullanpur resident with a country-made pistol during frisking has led all the SHOs on their toes to keep an eye on crime activities going in and around the city  and seize all the illegal weapons.

It is to mention here that Mullanpur police station has registered a case under Arms Act against the accused.
