Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh):- Punjab Government has planned to introduce
Pentavalent Vaccine, a single injection comprising of Diphtheria, Pertussis,
Tetanus, Hepatitis-B and vaccines Hi-b in 2009 as a part of Immunization
Programme.
As per the information available to Mera Chandigarh.com, the pentavalent vaccine
has been planned to introduce in Punjab in addition to Hepatitis-B vaccination.
Pentavalent vaccine will help in reducing the IMR and Child mortality rate in
the state.
