Chandigarh Police Arrests Travel Agent for Cheating

Chandigarh(Mera-Chandigarh):The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Chandigarh Police pm Thursday arrested a travel agent from sector-22 Chandigarh for cheating people behalf of sending people abroad.
The accused Vivek Grover, Rita Sharma resident of Panchkula running a travel company named Wings Consultants in Sector-22 Chandigarh.
The fraud of the travel agent came in to light when Kuldeep Singh of Bathinda lodged complaint against the travel agent, he alleged that Vivek Grover in 2007 promised to him and Hardev Singh of Sirsa and Gurdeep Singh of Mansa to send them UK and grabbed Rs.15lakh by saying fee for UK but could not success to send them.
The accused kept on taking money from them and even took Hardev and Gurdeep to Singapore. However, both Hardev and Gurdeep came back after sometime as the accused failed to get them a visa for the UK.
At last the victims complaint against the travel agent.
