Chandigarh Police Arrests Gang Leader Active in Punjab, Haryana
Chandigarh(Mera Chandigarh): The Chandigarh Police arrested three persons who were involved in many snatching cases in the region, two were arrested on Monday and third miscreant was arrested on Tuesday from Chandigarh.
Chandigarh(Mera-Chandigarh): The Chandigarh Police arrested three persons who were involved in many snatching cases in the region, two were arrested on Monday and third miscreant was arrested on Tuesday from Chandigarh.
According to J.S. Khaira, deputy superintendent of police (south),the police arrested Sudhir Kumar (26) and Mohammad Mustafa (22) on Monday night after a chase as they were speeding away in a white Maruti car after committing two snatching incidents in the region. And the third person Manga (20) was arrested on Tuesday.
The police claimed that the arrested miscreants and their gang were behind the robberies and snatching cases happened the past two month.
According to the police, Sudhir, who is the gang leader, is son of a retired inspector of Chandigarh police.
The police also assumed that the gang is active in Punjab and Haryana states.
