Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): Chandigarh police has booked 10 student leaders of Panjab University under section 107/150 of CrPC on Wednesday.
Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): Chandigarh police has booked 10 student leaders of Panjab University under section 107/150 of CrPC on Wednesday.As per the available information, Chandigarh police after facing serious allegations against security arrangements made pertaining to PU Students’ Polls from the residents have booked 10 student leaders involved in serious brawl case that took place at University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) on Tuesday.
Following is the blacklisted students Being Booked by Chandigarh Police:
1. SOPU’s president Brinder Singh Dhillon
2. SOPU leader Harpreet Singh Multani
3. SOPU Udeybhan
4. PUSU’s president Tejpal Singh Cheema
5. PUSU campus president Simranjeet Singh Dhillon
6. PUSU leader Simranjeet Singh Sandhu
7. HSA leaders Drupwinder Singh Dhillon alias Cheery Brar
8. Narinder Kumar Gujjar
9. INSO leader Sukhdev Singh Kundu
10. INSO Deepak Hooda.
According to SP (central) Madhur Verma, Chandigarh, all the accused have been ordered to appear before SDM (central) on August 31 to fill out surety bond applications under preventive measures following the suspicion that they may create trouble during the PU Students’ Elections 2009.
