Chandigarh CBI Court Sends NCB Zonal Director SK Sekhri on Three day Remand
Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): The special court of Central Bureau of Investigation, Chandigarh has remanded NCB zonal director Sunil Kumar Sekhri to three-day police custody.
Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): The special court of Central Bureau of Investigation, Chandigarh has remanded NCB zonal director Sunil Kumar Sekhri to three-day police custody.
As per the available information, The CBI special court of Darshan Singh has sent NCB zonal director Sunil Kumar Sekhri three-day CBI custody on Monday.
It is to remember that SK Sekhri, Zonal Director of the Narcotics Control Bureau and successor of Saji Mohan, a former Zonal Director of the NCB was caught red-handed by the Central Bureau of Investigation team from Chandigarh zonal headquarters while accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakh from the owner of a Baddi-based pharmaceutical company on Sunday.
According to sources, a team from the Chandigarh office of the CBI laid a trap in New Delhi and arrested SK Sekhri with the bribe money. He had allegedly sought the bribe to not book the pharmaceutical company under the NDPS Act.
