Bansal Group Surrenders Rs 35.5 crore to Chandigarh Income Tax Department
Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): Income tax department has concealed the income worth Rs 35.5 crore on Wednesday in a raid conducted at two business houses of tricity.
Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): Income tax department has concealed the income worth Rs 35.5 crore on Wednesday in a raid conducted at two business houses of tricity.
According to IT department sources, various premises of Bansal Textiles and Gupta Hardware in Chandigarh, Panchkula, Ambala and Shahbad were raided by special income tax team.
It is to mention that IT department has recently raided Mohali based five real estate agents and colonizers and scrutinized a wealth of Rs 16 crore.
It is to remember that the figure in corresponding duration in last financial year,2007-2008 remained Rs155.5 crore less than previous year figure Rs 227.32 crores in 34 income tax surveys.
