Chandigarh(Mera Chandigarh):Chandigarh Municipal Corporation’s proposed amusement park at Sector 17 created hot debate among councilors and city based architects.

According to information with Mera Chandigarh  amusement park has been planned very near f an eleven-storey building dreamed by Le Corbusier, an architect, who has drawn Chandigarh in the Map of India.

According to M N Sharma, Former chief architect, said that amusement park will disturb the fine nomenclature of city beautiful  and it should be avoided at all cost.

It is to mention that in previous House meeting many councilors raised objections on amusement Park the main argument given was congestion of traffic in heart of city which is already choked and proposed amusement Park will make situation  worst in the heart of city ..

Another solid argument given by opposition lobby is inadequate parking space around proposed site as it has already occupied due to its high real estate value.
