Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): Khem Lal Bansal, independent candidate from Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency has got 387 out of total 339,410 polled votes.
Chandigarh (Mera Chandigarh): Chandigarh has witnessed one long month political campaigning, the action pack drama of Indian democracy had shown its all flavour, from money to liquor with religion as special appearance.Much has been flown in Ganges; city beautiful was the rare sufferer political mud slugging has defaced the every heart of Chandigarh.
Polling has over now; Chandigarh is waiting to know the name of its representatives in Indian Parliament called Lok Sabha.
In Lok Sabha Elections 2009, there were 14 candidates who had contested elections from Chandigarh Parliamentary constituency which were as follows:

According to Election Commission Reports, Khem Lal Bansal, independent candidate from Chandigarh Parliamentary Constituency has got 387 out of total 339,410 polled votes.
