Last year, Ariana revealed in an interview with Cosmopolitan that she had feeling for the "Smile Back" spitter for a long time. That same year, Mac was featured on a remix of her single Into You , as well as her Yours Truly single The Way.
Such verifications are relevant because data controllers and processors are responsible ("principle of accountability") for implementing - both at the time the means used for processing are determined and at the time of the processing itself - appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure an effective level of protection of the processed personal data (known as "data protection by design and by default"). They can also view or delete data from the My Activity section and manage or mute the ads they see on Google, on websites and in apps using the recently upgraded "Ads Settings" tool and "Mute This Ad" control.
Google announced a number of updates across its platforms that will help it comply with the upcoming EU GDPR regulations. Google encrypt the data by default and has an audit log when the support engineering teams interacts with the data.
What is likely to be of interest to marketers is that the process of managing advertising preferences or muting certain ads entirely will be more streamlined for consumers, with Google saying it has plans to "further simplify the look and feel of these tools in the coming months".
