The main sensor is 12 MP Sony IMX486 with f/1.75 aperture and 1.25 μm pixel size. The antenna bands are hidden at the top and bottom, and the fingerprint sensor is placed on the back of the device. The camera app, like every other phone released as of late, can also detect various scenes like pets, people and adjust the settings automatically. Also, the dual lenses allow Mi 6X users to use real-time translations for multiple languages such as English, French, German Japanese, Korean and Indian.

"Cashback" shall mean Rs 2200/-, which shall be credited in the form of 44 cashback vouchers of Rs 50/- each, in the MyJio App of an Eligible Subscriber upon performing Recharge on the Eligible Device.

The phone has Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM slots, and a USB Type-C port.
