The process is becoming more hard to trust for some people after the Heat responded with a gritty performance in Game 2 and Joel Embiid displayed his dissatisfaction with being held out due to an orbital fracture (and recently being declared doubtful for Game 3). After dropping the opener, the Heat evened things up at 1-1 by winning on Monday. Philadelphia isn't the type of organization that would allow a player to rush back, but it will need to convince Embiid that he's not costing any games on the bench while during his recovery process.
Simmons' All Star teammate Joel Embiid has been listed as doubtful for game three as he struggles to overcome an orbital bone fracture that he suffered on March 28. He also was sidelined from the last eight regular-season contests.
When Embiid does get back into the lineup - whether that's Thursday or Saturday - Brown expects him to make an immediate impact on defense.
As Sixers coach Brett Brown started answering questions at his postgame press conference following Monday's 113-103 loss to the Miami Heat, his superstar center took to Instagram to vent. "What i can say is there is a very unified effort with his representation and the people around him. with the people that did the operation, the doctors, with our medical staff, with the team, with me, (and with) the coaching staff". "And now we've got to incorporate him into what we've been doing". The open looks that the Sixers had while shooting an unbelievable 18 for 28 from three-point range in Game 1 suddenly vanished. Granted, Dario Saric put up 23 points himself and, behind his efforts, was Ben Simmons who finished the night with 24. The 76ers have too many great shooters to have another bad performance from the 3 point line in game 3.

Thus an accumulation of ice is possible later on Saturday into Saturday night which will cause for some risky travel conditions. Freezing rain will resume again on Sunday, and then change to heavy rain with the potential for localized flooding.
Miami limited the Sixers to 7-for-36 shooting from the arc in Game 2, and afterward, the Sixers talked about how the Heat had played much more physically than in the opener. "He's (made) for these moments", said Spoelstra, whose team won a road game in their 19th straight series, dating to 2011. "I love the stage".
Heat forward James Johnson had some nice numbers in the Heat's win in Philly. Don't be surprised if those trends continue.
Embiid averaged 22.9 points and 11 rebounds in 63 games this season.
