London police say a man is charged after a woman reported being sexually assaulted by a man she met on a dating website.
Chavarria-Diaz was booked into Santa Clara County jail on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and sexual penetration by force in connection with the March 28 attack. She said she had refused to let him watch her shower. Additional charges for the crime in Oakland may be forthcoming.
Magisterial District Judge Alexandra Kokura Kravitz arraigned him on Tuesday night and released Disbrow on $25,000 unsecured bail. According to reports, Gordon's charges were later upgraded to first-degree sexual assault when police learned more details about the incident. The suspect attempted to remove the second victim from his vehicle and the man suffered minor injuries, police said.
