Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he is hopeful that Mohamed Salah will be fit for Liverpool FC's showdown with Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

"Salah should think very well before he leaves Liverpool and get advice from trustworthy professional people, then he will take the best decision for himself".

Last week, the Egypt global came off because of a groin injury in the second half of Liverpool's 3-0 victory in the first leg at Anfield.

The Egypt forward, who leads the race for the Premier League's Golden Boot with 29 goals, was withdrawn with a groin problem against Manchester City in the Champions League in midweek. "We will see in five hours until we train and we'll know who is involved in that".

Salah has 38 goals in all competitions in his first season at Liverpool.

"No real clue in the moment because we have to wait a little bit", he told the club's official website.
They are fine, they were fine when I left Melwood yesterday. The Germany midfielder sustained a back injury last month and has been out of action since.

The only change in Liverpool's side from the game at Anfield last week was in midfield where Georginio Wijnaldum comes in for the suspended Jordan Henderson.

And with Dutch centre-back Virgil Van Dijk also in their ranks, the team is starting to look the strongest it has been in years.
