The world seems to love a big Apple event, so mark your cards for March 27, which is when the next one is happening. In typical Apple fashion, the event's invitation doesn't offer any details about the impending announcements.

There have recently been rumors that Apple could release a cheaper Macbook, as well as possibly a new entry-level iPad to complement its more expensive iPad Pro line. The invite, which was sent out Friday morning, featured the slogan "let's take a field trip". That implies we're going to see more than just a shiny new tablet, and some kind of schools initiative or education-specific software might be in the works. New iPads have been rumored for later this year as well, but it's unlikely that an education-focused iPad would include the new and expensive FaceID camera.
