In 2016, Lena Zawaideh, the former drummer of White's rock band Bad Things, sued the snowboarder for sexual harassment.

In 2016, TMZ reported Zawaideh brought the suit against White for claims including sexual harassment.

After winning the men's halfpipe event on February 13, White called the allegations against him "gossip" when asked by a reporter during a press conference.

"I am who I am, and I'm proud of who I am", he continued.

"I'm just truly sorry", he said.

"I'm truly sorry that I used the word "gossip"," he said.

Olympic silver medallist Ayumu Hirano might have the chance to gain revenge on nemesis Shaun White sooner than the next Winter Games in Beijing as he entertains the possibility of competing in skateboarding at the 2020 Tokyo Summer Games.

"I was so overwhelmed with just wanting to talk about how awesome today was and share my experience", he added, referring to his halfpipe run.

BMW X4 arrives in July, priced from $50450
The petrol M40i will be the most-powerful engine, with 0-62mph taking 4.8 seconds while official economy is an optimistic 31.4mpg. BMW launched the X3-based X4 a couple years ago to compliment the larger X6, and the smaller X2 hits the road later this year.

White has been the world's dominant snowboarder for more than a decade, winning gold medals in 2006, 2010 and again this year, completing a comeback after finishing fourth in 2014. "And I definitely feel like I am a much more changed person than I was when I was younger". White is back on top, but with the spotlight on him, allegations of sexual harassment are resurfacing. "I think we're here to talk about the gold medal and the awesome day we had today", he said.

According to several reporters present at the press conference, no female reporters were called on to ask questions. She alleges he forced her to watch "sexually disturbing" porn sexualizing human fecal matter. "I was so overwhelmed with just wanting to talk about how wonderful today was and share my experience, but yeah".

White, 31, became the first Olympian to claim three gold medals in the snowboard halfpipe and his performance in the final on Wednesday relegated Australia's Scotty James to bronze.

"Oh man, that was terrible and unbelievable at the same time".

Long before White was recognized as one of the best snowboarders in US history, he was famous for being the "next big thing" in skateboarding.

Not only have people started questioning White, but the Olympics are taking a stand in the Me Too movement as well.

"There are powerful forces at play which prevent Ms. Zawaideh from speaking about the allegations and ultimate outcome of the sexual harassment case", Bohm's statement said Wednesday, via USA Today.

Though White's intention might've been to ease the atmosphere, his comment of the allegations being "gossip" only added fuel to the fire, and he soon took notice of it.
