A brawnier exterior shape is the trademark of Hyundai's new 2019 Santa Fe exterior.
Several powertrain packages are likely, with an emphasis on a V-6 for the bigger model and an inline-four for the Santa Fe Sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, these are the first official design sketches of the all-new Santa Fe SUV, which is scheduled to debut later this year - most likely at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
The drawings show an SUV featuring an aggressive front end with a very modern split headlight design, which is along similar lines to the smaller, recently introduced Kona, and a neat, pinched rear end with an angled tailgate.
Over $500 million have been Lost to Hackers - Japanese Exchange
Coincheck announced in an updating blog post that it had stopped trading of NEM and other coins as it dealt with the hack. Coincheck was not registered with Japan's Financial Services Agency, but now the exchange is planning to do so.
Hyundai released no further details, but the earlier photo (below) highlighted that a new SmartSense safety package for the family SUV will include a Rear Occupant Alert monitor and rear cross-traffic collision warning with automatic braking. It also has a new "cascading grille" that can be seen throughout the Hyundai lineup. The Hyundai Santa Fe that was sold in India up until previous year came with a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine that made 197BHP of power and 421Nm of torque. The ROA alerts the driver if a passenger is in the rear seat, a feature created to prevent parents from accidentally leaving children in a auto that might become dangerously hot inside, the company said.
Pre-orders for the new SUV start February 7.
"Enhancing user experience was a vital point when developing the new Santa Fe", said Kim Hyo-lin, director of Hyundai Motor's User Experience Planning Group on Tuesday.
Now the continued sketch design, like the Hyundai, has increased interest.
The new Santa Fe is the fourth-generation of the vehicle.
