The network declined to comment on reports that a "The Office" revival is in the works. Based on Ricky Gervais' hit British comedy of the same name, "The Office" ran on NBC from 2005 to 2013, winning the outstanding Emmy comedy in 2006.
The cast will be a mix of old and new, and it looks fairly unlikely that Steve Carrell, who played the boss of the Dunder Mifflin's Scranton, PA. branch for seven of the show's nine seasons to date will return.

Greenblatt stated: "We often talk about The Office".
Bob Greenblatt, the network president, told reporters a month before the premiere of the "Will & Grace" reboot that "The Office" was on his wish list for future reboots, along with "30 Rock".
