The new snooze feature also works with Pages and Groups, so if you're sick of a particular publication's posts about a sporting event you have no interest in, you can cut off contact for a month. If you want to temporarily halt those notifications, you can choose to use the snooze feature and now just the Unfollow / Hide tool that's currently available.

The Snooze period lasts 30 days, which isn't exactly ideal for my wedding scenario, but it is good for when your ex first gets into that new relationship, or your friend has a baby and can't stop posting 50 pictures a day, or your friend gets a puppy and can't stop posting 100 pictures a day. The people, Pages, and groups you snooze will not be notified.
