Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for the foothills and mountains and for Northern Maine, while Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for interior Maine.
The second Alberta clipper could produce another few inches of snow across the region overnight Wednesday through dawn Thursday. Additional snowfall tonight and Wednesday is epxected to range from an inch or so in our southwestern areas, to 3"-5" north and east of South Bend.
Olean will see "lighter snow through early afternoon associated with this first storm system", he said, followed by a second storm the following day.
A cold front will move through the area Tuesday which will mean mountain snow showers, chilly temperatures and gusty winds.
