Hopefully Google fleshes out the app with more functionality before a final release, but in the meantime, you can give the beta a go at the source link below. Opening up the app for the first time will ask you to accept some terms and conditions post which you will then be greeted with the "Storage" screen.
Google today made a decision to launch its new Files Go Android app into public beta to reach a wider group of testers. For those of you with 128GB phones, this may not be something you care about, but if you have a phone like the Moto X4 pictured above, this is exactly the type of app that could come in handy.
If you have registered as a tester and you already have the Netflix application on your device, you should receive an update with the testing version.
Most features on File Go are focused on space and storage management on your phone.
White House: We Have Nothing to Do With Manafort's Indictment
Throughout the briefing, Sanders continued to distance the Trump campaign from the activities of Manafort, Gates and Papadopoulos. Sanders later said Papadopoulos was a member of "a volunteer advisory council that meant one time over the course of a year".
Jumping onto the "Files" tab will let you access Downloads, Received Files, Images, Videos, Audio and Documents. Once you are on the Files tab, just tap on "Send" after which the app will ask you to enter your Display Name. Google is currently running an early access program, which is currently full, so the majority of users can not download it right now. Even though Google seems to be working on such app doesn't mean that it will be launched at all. There are also other suggestions, including clearing app caches, deleting apps that aren't frequently used, and removing "spam & duplicate images". It's more concerned with helping you find files and delete them than helping you organize your system. Another additional feature is the ability to transfer files from your phone to a friend's handset in the immediate vicinity. No complains here, nevertheless, as the app is still in beta testing phase so we hope Google can improve the stability. It also enables you to share the files offline- quickly and securely.
Inside the Settings menu, Files Go can notify you when your device is nearly full (Low Storage).
The APK file of the Files Go app is around 5.41MB in size, lower than the size of the Shareit and Xender installation packages. It will compile the list from the last month of apps that you have used and not used.
