Xenoblade Chronicles 2 will be one of the last big releases of 2017 - a year that was already pretty packed and hosted a brand new console release. It includes new items and quests coming in December and January, plus new gear, a new mode, and "a brand-new story and adventure" landing each season through Autumn 2018. DLC will include a "challenge Battle Mode", quests, support items and a new side story. For more downloadable content, which will be released over the course of months, you can purchase the game's Expansion Pass, available today.
The Direct also announced a Season Pass for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 called an Expansion Pass.

At release, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 players will be able to download a free content update which adds Japanese audio and English subtitles.
According to the recently broadcasted Xenoblade Chronicles 2, a new quest will be available in the game awarding a Rex costume for Link. It'll be available for free from Thursday, November 9. Blades are artificial lifeforms that bond with Drivers to lend them their weapons and powers in battle. When players fight alongside a Blade, they might trigger effects that protect the Driver, strengthen attacks, and other helpful actions. But not the expansion pass or the Pro Controller. Nintendo did, however, state that a bundle containing the season pass and main game will cost £77 in the UK-that's £22 more than the price of the base game by itself on the Eshop. During a Xenoblade-centric Nintendo Direct presentation this morning, Nintendo offered loads of details it has been hanging onto since the game's announcement. Special landmarks can also be traveled to at any time.
