NFL Players Were Heartbroken By Deshaun Watson's Torn ACL

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo is reporting Houston Texans QB Deshaun Watson (knee) has suffered a torn ACL in practice Thursday.

He also was named the NFL's Offensive Rookie of the Month of October.

Watson had been one of the game's best quarterbacks this season, his first in the league.

New Overwatch hero Moira and new map revealed
No word yet on when Moira will hit PTR, but expect her to be a bit controversial (just like nearly all new Overwatch characters). Coalescence - Moira channels a long-range beam that both heals allies and bypasses barriers to damage her enemies.

Swinney said in a statement he spoke with Watson late Thursday afternoon about the disappointing news. He also noted that Watson has had setbacks in his life and "always comes back stronger". "Since he went through the rehab before, he knows what it takes". The rest of the season, however, he has been on fire and shown that he is a future National Football League star for years to come. He passed for 402 yards and four touchdowns in the Texans' 41-38 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in one of the most exciting games of the season. He suffered it on a non-contact play, Rapoport added.

Watson was the front runner to win the NFL Rookie of the Year award this season throwing for nearly 1.700 yards and 19 touchdowns since taking over as starter. Dabo Swinney had Watson at Clemson from 2014 to early 2017, and he's convinced the rookie signal caller will rebound without skipping a beat. All he did after the injury in 2014 was come back and lead us to the National Championship game twice and of course we won it previous year. The 19 touchdowns are a record for a player in his first seven games, and he has two rushing touchdowns in addition to that total. "I have no doubt he will come back from this".
