When the original Google Pixel was launched, it was offered with unlimited cloud storage for photo uploads, with no apparent time limit. With that Google also said that users of both these smartphones will get unlimited photo/video uploads in original quality, but, only till January 15, 2021.
Ever since it came to light that the free/unlimited original-quality photos and videos storage for Pixel 2 owners has a time limitation (the deal ends 2020), some of those with original Pixels have been wondering if there's any similar limit for their devices.

According to a new blog post from Google's Jan Jedrzejowicz, Google Duo's video-calling feature will be integrated into the Phone, Contacts and the Messaging apps on Android system. The "At a Glance" widget is only located on the screen's homepage, while the Google Search Bar is displayed regardless of the page you are on. These changes also allow other apps to interact based on the battery level of a connected device, so hopefully it'll cut down on some of the extra apps you have to download to actually use your Bluetooth headsets, too.
Today the Pixel 2 launcher (the newest Pixel launcher) was released through 3rd-parties for older devices. It now exists in the hamburger menu on the top left side of the interface.
This is a feature that's been available on Google Home since day one, and it's something that I find myself regularly using. Some were also concerned that Google might try to change the format in order to accommodate the extra photos, but thanks to a teardown of the latest Photos app, it's confirmed that the photos and storage quota will remain untouched.
