Xiaomi is set to launch the Mi Notebook Pro starting at ¥6399 CNY or $1189.47 CAD.
The company has introduced this new generation laptops via their official Twitter handle with a few images of this stunning Mi Notebook Pro laptop. The only letdown here is the 1080p display resolution and 72-percent NTSC gamut, neither of which sound very "pro". Apart from that, the Mi Notebook Pro comes 2,400MHz dual channel RAM. It comes with a backlit keyboard with 1.5 mm key travel.
The Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM variant will feature a pricing of 6999 Chinese Yuan ($1074 or Rs. 68,630 approx). A Core i7/16GB RAM configuration will set you back the rough equivalent of $1,075 (6999 yuan), but it's probably wise not to expect USA availability anytime soon.
As noted earlier, there is no guarantee that Xiaomi will launch the Mi Notebook in India, although if it does chances are that it may find a number of takers. The device will, like its predecessor, be available only in China and will start going on Sale on September 15.
