Ticketmaster announced yesterday that Bruce Springsteen's upcoming residency at Walter Kerr Theatre, Springsteen on Broadway, would more than double in duration. It originally was to close November 26, but now that has been pushed to February 3.
Tickets for Bruce Springsteen's eight-week run of Broadway shows went on sale at 10 a.m. ET Wednesday, and despite the efforts of Ticketmaster's "Verified Fan" program, they were available nearly immediately on secondary-market websites like StubHub and Vivid Seats for thousands of dollars. The tickets, which ranged from $75 - $850 on Ticketmaster, sold out in a matter of minutes.
Here's the breakdown on how to score tickets to the new dates (before those run out as well).
The Springsteen On Broadway show featuring Springsteen solo at The Walter Kerr Theatre in NY has been expanded, with 40 new dates taking the show into February.

Bruce Springsteen has announced a new set of dates at the Walter Kerr Theatre in NY, 10 weeks worth in fact, as the show will now run through February 3, 2018. The entire initial 10-week run sold out within the day, with tickets hitting the secondary market shortly afterward - some offered at up to almost $10,000 a seat.
Previews for the show begin on October 3. "I chose Broadway for this project because it has the handsome old theaters which seemed like the right setting for what I have in mind", the 67-year-old rocker said in a statement.
"My show is just me, the guitar, the piano and the words and music", Springsteen explained.
He added, "It loosely follows the arc of my life and my work. All of it together is in pursuit of my constant goal to provide an entertaining evening and to communicate something of value".
