"I did drink too much", Corinne confessed.

Corinne Olympios' sit-down with Chris Harrison about the Bachelor in Paradise controversy airs tonight (August 29).

Corinne also said she mixed medication with alcohol, and admitted to not remembering much of the first day of production.

"At that point in time, I saw myself as a victim of having something this serious happen to you and have the media paint you a certain way that you know you aren't and having all these people make their judgments and comments and they don't even know what happened or went on", she exclusively tells PEOPLE in this week's issue. "The combination of the two was not good".

Olympios then revealed that she had unwittingly been taking a medication that should not be combined with alcohol-and that as a result, she had very little memory of the first day on set. "It wasn't anything. It was just normal". "I was really a victim of the media", she said on "Good Morning America". "I wish you all the best and I'm sorry". "You're looking at them and it's like, 'I'm not what you're thinking right now'". It's just an unfortunate, annoying situation that had to go down.

The incident also prompted the producers to impose new policies in the show pertaining to the contestants' drinking and on-camera consent.

Because she was known as the "fun" Corinne during her season, the 25-year-old said there was "no way" for DeMario or the production crew to know she was "mentally checked out.which is beyond scary, but it is what it is I guess". "I can't help but feel like maybe he felt like I thought that he did something to me". "It can look like you're totally present and totally there, and your mind is just not anywhere near", she explained.

Greg Abbott said Abbott "believes we need good, fair trade deals that will benefit the United States and its workers". He said Trump's comments also could damage the "friendship and economic alliance that the USA and Mexico share".

"I did drink too much", she said.

"I never once thought that I would be here, today, speaking to you guys, in the middle of a insane scandal", Jackson said. He said his mother had to go to "war" to defend his character. "I was never mad at you or blaming you for anything". "I definitely overdrank. I was also on some medication that you're not supposed to drink on".

Chris Harrison thanked Corinne for coming into the studio to talk, and Corinne concluded by thanking everyone that supported her.

And if you can't get enough Corinne, she's apparently working on a reality show and a scripted series.

Earlier this summer, production on the "Bachelor" spin-off was shut down after alleged "sexual misconduct" between Olympios and DeMario Jackson.

According to ABC, contestants are required to take an STD test and and complete an 800-question psyche evaluation. The safety, security and well-being of the cast and crew is our number one concern, and we suspended filming so that the allegations could be investigated immediately and thoroughly.
