The fight has been dismissed as a farce and a mis-match by many, with veteran boxer Mayweather the favourite to take a comfortable win over an untested McGregor.
Mayweather, who will bring a 49-0 record into the ring, is already recognized as one of the greatest fighters of all-time, a brilliant defensive tactician and counter puncher who has ruled the ring for 21 years.
This form of execution is Mayweather's choice, captured in Mayweather's faked hand pistol shots at McGregor during Friday's animated weigh-in at T-Mobile Arena.
"He's full of water - that's the worst shape I've ever seen him in", the Dubliner said. "I'm a professional, I make weight, that's dedication, that's focus".
"I'm going to breeze through him". "Weight doesn't win fights, fighting wins fights".
"It's going to be like walking through a really bad neighbourhood late at night".
McGregor, who has never fought in a professional boxing contest, is a massive underdog for a fight, which is expected to beamed live to around 200 countries and territories across the globe.

There was a stretch of time - following the release of Iron Man 3 in 2013 - where Paltrow's Pepper Potts was nowhere to be found in any of the MCU films.
Both Mayweather and McGregor agreed to Byrd as the referee of choice for their match. When Mayweather retired in September 2015, he did so with a slew of welterweight crowns in his collection.
However, this is no ordinary fight of two men in a squared ring.
Neither should mind the lack of hardware at stake, though. It was a clean fight for the most part, one that Guerrero wanted to make dirtier with inside boxing and some holding of his own, but Mayweather has always been adept at getting away from that kind of thing without referee interference.
Most signs (if not all) point to Mayweather emerging victorious.
"If you look at him today versus Floyd Mayweather, Conor is the taller, longer, stronger, more powerful opponent", said Bob Bennett, executive director of the commission. Otherwise, he'll have a tough time hanging with an elusive defensive maestro like Mayweather, who should win handily. McGregor, draped in the Irish flag, was cheered on by a throng of his countrymen.
McGregor, who was on social welfare from the Irish government as recently as four years ago, is the blue collar populist champion but the bulk of the money being wagered is all in Mayweather's corner.
