And on Wednesday, she finally revealed what she was up to, announcing her new album, Reputation, which will be released November 10 and the first single, which will be out Thursday night.

However, Swift - who has been posting teasers on social media for the last couple of days - is being "very secretive" about the whole thing.

On Monday, she shared a short, glitchy clip of a snake's tail, before uploading its curling body on Tuesday. In the recordings, the "Blank Space" singer is heard giving her approval to the song, but after the song was released, she denounced the lyrics, which refer to her as a b-. According to Variety, multiple sources have confirmed that Taylor will release a new single on Friday, but that it's still anyone's guess whether or not she'll drop an entire album. The black-and-white image shows the singer staring into the camera as her name repeats in a series of pattern designs behind her.

Us Weekly reported yesterday that Swift is "overhauling her image" ahead of the album's release.

"1989" also earned the Grammy for Album of the Year, making Swift the first woman until Adele to win the top music industry prize twice.
