The CCTV clipping was part of a statement Roopa had submitted to the ACB which had sought her to reply to a questionnaire on her charges that the Central Prison officials had connived with Sasikala, now undergoing imprisonment after being convicted in a disproportionate assets case.
The footage shows Sasikala and her sister-in-law Ilavarasi carrying bags and apparently entering the Parapanna Agrahara Central Prison, where Sasikala is serving a sentence in the disproportionate assets case, after a guard opens one of the gates.
It, however, does not throw light on when it was recorded or which part of the jail it is from.
She alleged that the 60-year-old Sasikala was receiving royal treatment in the women's cell. The footage is of Sasikala and Ilavarasi walking out of B-gate en route the visitors' room.
