Aamir Khan with wife Kiran Rao and co-star Zaira Wasim attended a private screening of the trailer of Secret Superstar in Mumbai on August 1, 2017.

Dangal is based on the true story of wrestling coach Mahavir Singh Phogat (played by Khan) who raises his two daughters (played by Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar as young girls) from the village to become champion wrestlers.

Talking further about her film Secret Superstar and the it's theme of women empowerment and dreaming big, Kiran said, "I just want to tell women that the best message through this film is that don't be scared to dream".

The teaser trailer of the film was unveiled in April, where Aamir's rockstar look went viral.

Well, the premise will remind one of Bill Muray's act in the 2015 Hollywood film Rock the Kasbah. And his upcoming film Secret Superstar is no different.

Chandan, who grew up watching Khan's films like Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikhandar, Lagaan and Rangeela, always dreamt of working for Aamir Khan Productions.

Aamir Khan returned the favour by wishing that Shah Rukh Khan's film "Jab Harry Met Sejal" does well at cinemas tomorrow. I am also very grateful about it.

Aamir will also be seen in "Thugs of Hindustan", directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya.
