All three candidates of BJP for RS polls, Amit Shah, Smriti Irani and Balwantsinh Rajput will file their nomination on Friday morning at Gujarat Assembly. Shah was accompanied by chief minister Vijay Rupani, deputy CM Nitin Patel, state BJP president Jitu Vaghani, ministers and a large number of BJP supporters.
Earlier this month, the election commission had notified election for 10 Rajya Sabha seats - 6 in West Bengal, 3 in Gujarat and 1 in Madhya Pradesh.
