May earmarks relief money for London fire victims; death toll at 30

The fire that consumed London's Grenfell Tower, tragically killing at least 30 people, may have dissipated, but it has once again focused attention on the city's social housing crisis.

"How many children died?"

The aluminium cladding, called Reynobond, was made by U.S. company Arconic and had a polyethylene core, which the reports said was slightly cheaper than fire-resistant models by the same manufacturer.

Sixteen "very ordinary people" sat in Downing Street to bring their concerns to Theresa May in an "unprecedented" meeting and finally felt they were listened to, the Bishop of Kensington, Dr Graham Tomlin said.

Armed with signs stamped with "JUSTICE FOR GRENFELL" and "NEVER AGAIN", protesters took to the streets of London on Friday afternoon to call for justice for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire.

Fifty-eight people who were in Grenfell Tower are still missing and are presumed to be dead, London police announced Saturday, raising the death toll in the horrific inferno that turned the public housing block into a charred hulk.

The protest is still ongoing, but here's everything you need to know so far.

Queen Elizabeth and her grandson Prince William yesterday visited a community centre where some of the survivors are being housed.

The government has ordered a judge-led inquiry into the disaster, which is under pressure to act quickly.

By contrast, Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn's response to the deadly blaze was suggest the "requisitioning" some of the expensive empty homes of the Kensington elite to ensure that displaced residents have shelter.

Trump acknowledges for first time he's under investigation
Still, the snowballing investigation has deeply angered Trump, who denies he has any nefarious ties to Russian Federation . On Wednesday, the Washington Post reported that Mueller was investigating if Trump obstructed justice when he fired Comey.

He said: "Little can compare in recent times to a tragedy on this scale - the response from the local authority has simply not been good enough".

"It's because of the fire and smoke spread".

One of the victims was named as Mohammed Alhajali, a 23-year-old Syrian refugee, who came to Britain in 2014 with his brother. The Telegraph collected some of the known names of the dead with pictures, mostly from the accounts of people searching for lost friends and family members.

"I'm just looking at that building every day".

More than £3 million has been raised for victims of the fire.

The residential tower was built in 1974 and had been extensively refurbished in works that were completed past year. The FR (version) is fire-resistant.

Experts say the cladding and the insulation it contained seems to have spread the flames quickly along the exterior of the building, overwhelming safety devices like fire doors.

The local Grenfell Action Grouphad claimed, before and during a major 10-million-pound refurbishment of Grenfell Tower a year ago, that the block constituted a fire risk and residents had warned that access to the site for emergency vehicles was "severely restricted".

UK Trade Minister Greg Hands said the government was carrying out an "urgent inspection" of the roughly 2500 similar tower blocks across Britain to assess their safety.

The 23-year-old Alhajali is the only victim of the Grenfell Tower fire to be officially named as the hard process of identifying human remains continues.
