After six seasons, Aisha Tyler is leaving "The Talk".

Addressing her fellow co-hosts and viewers on Thursday's live broadcast, the actress said that she had become too busy with her outside projects to continue on with the CBS daytime staple.

"People always go 'How to you do all that?', and I don't always have an answer", she said.

In addition to appearing on Criminal Minds, voicing a character on Archer, and hosting Whose Line Is It Anyway?

"I have had an unbelievable six years with you guys", Tyler, 46, told her co-hosts, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood on the show Thursday.

Today during the daytime series, Tyler confirmed that she is departing the show.

A replacement was not announced for Tyler on the show, which shoots during all but one month every year. "I just realized I had to let something go".

"I have had an unbelievable six years with you guys", Tyler said to her co-hosts. She burst into tears and was consoled by co-host Sheryl Underwood. In a second post, Aisha captioned a photo of her Talk co-hosts with the hashtag #squadgoalsforever. She added that is what she wants to do the rest of her life. Sometimes it's painful. Sometimes it's lovely. "Our friendships are so precious to me, and the thing I'm going to miss most is all of the time we get to spend together when we're not on camera". Be fearless, everyone. Be courageous'. A goodbye message to Aisha was posted on the show's official Twitter page. The show twitted, 'Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

She added that she'd be leaving at the end of this season, which wraps on August 4, but would definitely come back to guest-host and promote her many projects.
