The self-obsessed president was voicing his opinions for "The Putin Interviews", a documentary by three-time Oscar victor Oliver Stone that will air on June 12-15 on Showtime.

Stone, who is producing his own documentary of the Russian leader, complimented Kelly's appearance and questioning, but trashed the "machine-gun like" pace of the interview. "There are no restrictions whatsoever", Putin said, contrasting Russian Federation with some Islamic states where he said gays face the death penalty.

The Russian President invited Oliver Stone to show him a command room equipped with the latest technologies used by Russians in Syria.

"Well, I prefer not to go to shower with him", exclaims a cackling Putin.

Yes, Putin thinks his naked body would "provoke" a gay man, thus necessitating him to use his masterful judo skills to defend himself, presumably because he thinks all gay men are sex monsters.

"I am not a woman, so I don't have bad days", he says in the documentary. "There are certain natural cycles", Boomerang has quoted him as saying.

French president flexes muscles in Putin talks
Russian President Vladimir Putin has rejected allegations that Moscow meddled in France's presidential election . After the talks and a joint news conference , Putin will visit the Paris Orthodox cathedral complex on his own.

Stone has previously released a film about the 2014 Maidan Revolution in Ukraine, which reiterates the Russian argument that the events were directed by USA intelligence, and will have been seen by the Kremlin as a friendly interlocutor. The order reportedly came from Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, one of Putin's closest confidants.

The footage also taps into a conversation about the Russian president's stance on homosexuality in the nation, The Hill reports.

Stone interview Putin gave in preparation for the documentary, dedicated to the President of Russian Federation.

Back in 2014, in an interview with Radio Europe 1, Putin had a rather archaic reason for avoiding a debate with Hillary Clinton, Time reported.

So if you saw Putin's Say No Evil, Hear No Evil sit-down with Megyn Kelly on Sunday, this may all seem old news. "He didn't betray the interests of his country".

The clips released so far from Stone's interviews also see Putin musing on life and philosophy.
