Lonzo Ball will work out for the Los Angeles Lakers on June 7th.

The Lakers are moving one step closer to making that a reality, as we have a reported date as to when Ball will be working out for the team.

People have been wondering how much the antics of LaVar Ball have cost his son, former UCLA basketball standout and top NBA prospect Lonzo Ball. And I don't want to say anything poorly against LaVar, I think he's done a good job of getting him ready to be where he's at and he's helped him become a great basketball player.

LaVar Ball, the outspoken father of Lonzo, isn't a topic of concern for Adam Silver. While the Lakers are widely expected to draft the young floor general with their No. 2 overall pick, a new report claims that Ball must "absolutely blow the doors off" in the workout session for Los Angeles to select him.

Big Baller Brand co-founder LaVar Ball is sticking to his guns and banking on himself and his family.

Officer who shot Tamir Rice is fired in unrelated matter
The officers weren't charged criminally, but Tamir's mother settled a federal civil rights lawsuit with the city for $ 6 million . He also was in a probationary period with Cleveland police, 10 months, when the shooting occurred.

He will not work out for the Boston Celtics, the team that won the first overall pick at the draft lottery two weeks ago.

Nike, Adidas and Under Armour reportedly offered Ball a $10 million dollar shoe deal, but the offer was declined by LaVar in hopes of a more lucrative contract. That equals $25.25 mil as his starting salary and about $146.45 million over five years.

"The Lakers make the playoffs as soon as my boy gets there", LaVar said.

LaVar is confident, however, that his son will be holding a Laker jersey come June 22.

Competing bidders can offer restricted free agent Noel a four-year max deal, also worth 25 percent of the cap and also starting at $25.25 mil, but with just five-percent annual raises, equaling about $108.575 million over four years. "Instead of saying he now wants $1 billion, he now wants $3 billion". All that really matters is how Lonzo performs on the court once he is drafted. "His dad to me, I wouldn't want a father like that to be honest with you".
