Former Tennessee Titans cornerback Jason McCourty is visiting the Cleveland Browns' facility Tuesday and taking a physical with the organization.

Jason McCourty signed a two-year, $6 million contract with the Browns that has $2 million guaranteed, he told NFL Media's Courtney Fallon. Sanu talked positively about Jackson as both a person and coach, and McCourty filed it away. His assimilation into one of the youngest groups in the National Football League will be buoyed by a past relationship with defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, who spent his 2013 with the Titans as a senior assistant. At Arizona State, Gonzalez last season won the Lou Groza Award, given yearly to the nation's top kicker.

In a text to ESPN's Paul Kukharsky, he expressed his excitement about coming to Cleveland and even had plenty of positive things to say about the Browns and what's going on in Berea as well. "He's a good fit for our team and we feel his experience and versatility will be an asset for our defense". Last season, he started 14 games and led the Titans defensive backs with 64 tackles. I want to be a part of something where I felt like I am wanted and where I feel like I'm part of a family.

US Tells Israeli Officials Western Wall is 'Not Your Territory'

The Browns will announce Wednesday they signed McCourty.

The Browns need help at cornerback after fourth-round draft pick Howard Wilson suffered a fractured kneecap Friday during the first practice of rookie minicamp. Over his eight-year stint in Tennessee, including being a full-time starter in his final six seasons with the team, McCourty totaled 496 tackles, 13 interceptions, 72 passes defended, six forced fumbles, five fumbles recovered, and two touchdowns in 108 games (90 starts). Gonzalez was the 224th overall pick.
