Chris Soules has been wearing an ankle monitor at home in Arlington, Iowa, since he was arrested for allegedly fleeing the scene of a auto accident on Monday, April 24, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly. He also added that the man was not conscious.

Later in the call, the operator asks Soules to perform CPR and he replies he doesn't know how.

The funeral for the victim in the Chris Soules vehicle crash - 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher - is happening next Monday, May 1, according to Aurora, Iowa mayor David Young.

An Iowa State Patrol official tells ET that Soules allegedly left the scene after the ambulance came.

Chris Soules has been detained after being involved in a deadly vehicle accident.

On radio traffic connected with the crash, deputies can be heard telling dispatchers that one of the drivers took off and they believe his name is Chris Soules.

The statement read, "Chris Soules was involved in an accident Monday evening (April 24) in a rural part of Iowa near his home".

Chris Soules made sure help was on the way before he fled the scene of his hit-and-run accident. His truck rear-ended Kenneth's tractor-trailer Monday night, sending it into a ditch. Mosher was transported to Mercy Hospital in Oelwein, Iowa, where he was pronounced dead.

"The only time I met him he was drunk", Bachelorette contestant Chad Johnson told Inside Edition.

A rep for Soules said the farmer was "devastated" to learn of Mosher's death, while Whitney Bischoff, his former fiancée that he met on "The Bachelor" told People, "This is a very sad situation". Assistant Buchanan County Attorney Jenalee Zaputil said Soules refused to leave his home and it took hours for police to get a search warrant to go inside and arrest him.

Meanwhile, a member of Mosher's extended family has spoken out - calling the whole ordeal a "huge mistake".

He was also asked to turn in his passport.

Meanwhile, a video in possession of the court features Soules being rather unwilling to cooperate with authorities.

Yes. The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation into the cause of the accident, and further charges may be pending. Court documents show alcohol containers were found in Soules' pickup at the scene.

Soules was previously convicted of driving while intoxicated in 2006.
