A postal service truck was damaged when it caught fire Tuesday while delivering packages in Wake Forest.
According to Dominic Manzo, who took this video, he and his brother were pulling out of his driveway headed to school at 7 am when they saw the mail truck engulfed in flames.
The truck caught fire while making deliveries and video showed the driver and a passerby rushing to to get all the packages off before they went up in flames. "If it wasn't for her quick thinking to pull right over and remove the parcels, it could've been tough..."
You'll want to have your less than urgent deliveries and oversized packages sent by standard mail Thursday, December 15.
Three ISIS Leaders Killed in Airstrike
Among the dead were two militants believed to be tied to the November 2015 attacks in Paris that killed 130 people. Three ISIS leaders were killed in a coalition airstrike carried out earlier this month, according to the Pentagon.
If you have been procrastinating on getting those Christmas cards in the mail, you're going to want to make sure you don't put it off for too much longer because those holiday shipping deadlines are approaching very quickly.
The postal service is working with customers who are missing packages. In a statement, Amazon said: "We appreciate the efforts of all those involved and are grateful that everyone is safe".
Amazon was so impressed - they're donating some money to the local fire department.
The holiday season is well underway and it is a busy time for many, including the U.S. Postal Service.
