US President-elect Donald Trump will meet with Vice President-elect Mike Pence in NY on Tuesday to discuss key appointments as moderate Republican Mike Rogers was jettisoned from the transition team.

However, Trump's appointment of Steve Bannon as chief strategist was roundly criticized by Democrats, civil rights organizations and some Republicans.

And his transition team has faced a string of setbacks as it tackles the daunting task of building an administration with the clout to support the 70-year-old political novice when he takes office in just nine weeks.

Hillary Clinton was not anxious to release her emails, and it seem like Vice President-elect Mike Pence is not ready to release his, either.

"After exchange w Trump transition team, changed my recommendation: stay away". He acknowledged he will be doing a lot of traveling from IN to Washington and NY as he transitions into his new job.

The high-stakes process of filling more than a dozen cabinet posts has been tumultuous by many accounts.

One source described to CNN the fierce lobbying as a "knife fight".

Giuliani and former UN Ambassador John Bolton are said to be favorites for Secretary of State.

A stream of Trump advisers arrived Tuesday at his eponymous skyscraper to plan for the next administration.

Those advisers included Vice President-elect Mike Pence, who is heading up the transition and entered Trump Tower shortly before noon.

"I believe in finishing what you started", Pence said Monday. Many on social media have shared that they have donated to the family-planning organization in Mike Pence's name, using hashtags #IStandWithPP, #WeWontGoBack and #NotMyPresident.

Ebell has admitted that the earth has experienced a "little bit of warming" but said it's " nothing to worry about ". As per Myron Ebell's wiki, he was born in Baker County, Oregon, and raised on a 2,000-acre cattle ranch.

Planned Parenthood of IN and Kentucky's Ali Slocum told CBS4 on Monday that the group has seen a spike IN donations, as well as people calling to offer support and help, since last week's election. As a former federal prosecutor, Giuliani would also make an easy transition to the Justice Department.

"Mr. Trump has said that in his acceptance speech that he was going to govern for all Americans", she said.

Giuliani said at a Wall Street Journal CEO Council event in Washington that he won't be attorney general in Trump's administration.

The focus on Pence's email, comes in the wake of criticism Clinton faced over her handling of a private email server as secretary of state - a controversy which sparked several federal and congressional investigations.

There were also reports that Laura Ingraham is under consideration for White House Press Secretary.

Pence has said he wants to see Roe v. Wade, the ruling that legalized abortion, "sent to the ash heap of history".

Asked if there is anybody better, Giuliani said: "Maybe me; I don't know".

On Monday, Trump spoke for the first time by telephone to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"Planned Parenthood's been around for 100 years, we've been fighting for the right for reproductive healthcare for that long, and as we've said today, our doors stay open".

"I think Trump is going to be the opposite".
